Masked gang storm Allerton house in terrifying robbery – CCTV pics

DETECTIVES hope this thug’s “spider web” jacket will help them trap him after a terrifying late night robbery.

CCTV cameras at the property on Dovedale Road, Allerton, picked up four men, all wearing balaclavas, as they smashed their way in at around 10.20pm on Saturday.

The gang were armed with wooden sticks as they searched through the house.

When they confronted the terrified occupants, they threatened them into handing over expensive jewellery.

Within minutes they fled, taking the haul of jewellery with them, and jumping into a silver Volvo waiting outside.

The car, driven by a fifth crook, sped along Rose Lane and on to Allerton Road before witnesses lost sight of it.

Police today released photos of some of the 24-carat gold jewellery taken, in the hope someone may recognise it being offered it for sale.
